If you're still getting yeeted or velen is dying, or you're missing interrupts, or mis-timing defensives, you need more practice. Last thing to add here is that to anyone reading this that is still struggling, if you're not getting kruul to about 10-15% consistently, the gear won't necessarily be the deciding factor. I was watching successful attempts on youtube that were so sloppy I was beside myself. Without it, you truly have to play perfect. Granted, considering I made it to 1.9% without it, I could have done the challenge without this stuff, but it's very very different with it. Now I wonder how well I could have done with good trinkets too. If I had understood how strong this stuff was on the first day, I would have just got it all and been done with it instead of being frustrated this entire time. Whether or not this results in any nerfs, remains to be seen. Not only did I get it done on my first attempt after getting this gear, I phased Variss just as the second Infernal landed. We are currently evaluating the data regarding Mage Tower success rates, and we have identified that some of the challenges for certain specializations are more. This post made me suck it up and go buy gems, crusader, and slotted gear. My closest attempt was 1.9% until this, and I did MT back in Legion as soon as it was up so I thought I knew the fight and my class, but I was beginning to think I actually sucked pretty badly. I had no idea how OP the gems and enchants were until I saw your character sheet with 100 more strength than my fully equipped pally.
